Here at the Cross
(A prayer by Bramwell Coles)
Here at the cross in this sacred hour, Here at the source of reviving power; Helpless indeed, I come with my need, Lord, for Thy service fit me, I plead.
I came across your site via several steps (I think starting with Jim Knaggs), and have been reading your prayers for a while now. Your reference to a Salvationist prayer/song prompted me to leave a comment and let you know that I am praying with you and for you.
We have met, but it was several years ago. My wife, Jane, is from Oxford and attended OBF. We've also worshipped with you at Coblestone when visiting family.
Having moved from Cleveland, OH to enter Salvation Army training in the UK we are now developing new areas of ministry for SA in Dublin, Ireland.
It seems from your prayers that there have been some difficult times recently - God's grace and peace to you in every circumstance.
