Lord, I give you thanks, for small things.
Thank you for waking me today.
Thank you for running water, shampoo, soap, and toothpaste.
Thank you for breakfast.
Thank you for the coffee in my cup, and the granola in my bowl.
Thank you for one more day at home before my trip.
Thank you that my children both made it safely to work today.
Thank you that my watch is working,
and my computer,
and my refrigerator,
and my desk lamp,
and my aging body.
Thank you for all the small things in a day's time that go right, and so go unnoticed, in Jesus' name, amen.
