Gracious Lord God,
please have mercy on those in the path of the Black Forest fire.
Please help those who are fighting to contain the fire,
and keep them safe.
Please preserve homes and property,
businesses and buildings,
but most of all, of course,
please deliver precious lives from harm,
in Jesus' name, amen.
