Oh, Lord, my head is spinning.
And yet I have peace.

More people are mad at me
than ever before in my life.
And yet I have peace.

I leave on a business trip in an hour,
and am already missing my lovely bride.
And yet I have peace.

I know my Enemy is on the prowl;
I feel his breath on my neck.
And yet I have peace.

My workload increases ever faster,
so fast that I cannot keep up, let alone catch up.
And yet I have peace.

Thank you for the peace that passes all understanding;
let the peace of Christ rule my heart through faith,
today and this week,
and always,
in Jesus' name, amen.
