Father, I so easily forget my need of you.
I so easily and regularly lapse
into thinking I can "live for a length of time
without fellowship with the Lord Himself" (Murray, The Prayer Life, p. 138).
Please cleanse me of this hidden fault, in Jesus' name, amen.
