Lord Jesus, why do I expect my path to be easy, when yours certainly wasn't?
Holy Spirit, why do I expect people to listen to me, when I don't often listen to you?
Almighty Father, why do I expect everyone to like my leadership decisions, when your children don't always like yours?
Help me to rejoice, rather, in the testing of my faith and the trying of my patience, in Jesus' name, amen.
