Gentle, humble, patient Lord!
You left us a beautiful, virtuous example of a holy life
so that we might follow in your footsteps.
You are an immaculate mirror of all virtues,
a perfect example of holiness,
an irreproachable measure of piety,
and a sure standard of righteousness.
How different my sinful life is compared to your just life!
