Come

Come, Lord Jesus. Come to my heart right now. Come to my life. Come to my family. Come to my church, to my work- place. Come to my friends and neighbors. Come to my com- munity and to my nation. Come to this world.

Come to the thirsty. Come to the desperate. To the sad and sorrowing. To the hurting and hungry. To the sick and to the lonely. Come, Lord.

Come and make all things right. Come soon. Come on the clouds, let every eye see you, let the whole world be filled with your glory, as the waters cover the sea. Amen. Come, Lord Jesus.

(a prayer from the book, How to Survive the End of the World)
