For Mercy Over Judgment

Abba, Father,
how I thank you for your rebukes and warnings.
I repent,
and bow before you in submission
and great gratitude that you have once again chosen
mercy over judgment,
and kindness instead of humiliation for me.
Now, please, set my feet on higher ground,
and grant that I may serve you in newness of life,
now and forevermore, in Jesus' name, amen.
