Thank you, God, for yard work, for the hours behind a lawnmower,
pulling weeds,
or spreading mulch,
when I can think,
brood,
pray,
listen to music,
feel like I'm accomplishing something,
smell fresh cut grass,
get a little exercise,
work with my hands,
and see tangible results.
It's good for me,
and it's a means of grace to me,
for which I give you thanks,
in Jesus' name, amen.
