Emerge in Splendor

When you, O God, emerge in splendor from your ivory palace, your garments are noble myrrh, aloe, and cassia.
You are the King of Glory, strong and powerful, mighty in battle.

Fling wide the door and unbar the gate so that the King of Glory may enter!

Blessed is he who comes in the name of the Lord, the Lord God who enlightens us. O Lord, aid us so that we will succeed! You have removed sin, curses, and death, and you have blessed us eternally in heavenly places. Give your people power, strength, and victory over all spiritual and physical enemies. Amen.
